ninja-ide software package provides integrated development environment (IDE) for Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ninja-ide
ninja-ide is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ninja-ide package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ninja-ide *
You will get with ninja-ide package name, version, architecture and description in a table
